Calvin Harris opened the scoring in the 28th minute and doubled the rapids lead in the 45th. After halftime, Montréal struck back forcing the Rapids into an own goal in the 53rd minute. The game ended in 2 Rapids goals; one from the penalty spot for Djordje Mihailovic and an open-play goal from Rafael Navarro.
