Colorado Rapids vs. Club León

Below are photos taken by Jordan Collins at the Leagues Cup game between the Colorado Rapids and Club León. These photos were taken for Club Eleven Magazine.

This match took place in Commerce City, Colorado. Edgar Guerra opened the scoring in the 82nd minute after a breakaway shot struck the post and fell in his path for a first-time finish. The visitors appeared to be in the driver’s seat until Rafael Navarro scored in the 7th minute of second half stoppage. Cole Bassett clipped a far post cross to Keegan Rosenberry who played a one-touch pass across the six yard box where Rafael Navarro headed the equalizer home. Per Leagues Cup rules, the game went to penalties at the conclusion of the second half.  The shootout ended 4-3 in favor of the Rapids with Zack Steffen saving 2 penalties to make the difference.
